Unit 4: Intro to Graphics

Welcome to the graphics unit, where you will learn to use Photoshop to edit images and make the memes you’ve always dreamed of. You will build up your skills in each of the tasks below, starting basic editing skills and working your way to complex compositions using multiple images. Within each task you will find a short description of what you’ll be doing, the objectives to be covered, and a set of video instructions to be followed. Before you get started, read the directions below on how to use the images provided with each task.

To use the images you will need to right click on the image you want and then choose one of the following:

  • copy and then go to Photoshop where you can use ctrl-v to paste the image in as a new layer.
  • save image as and then go to your drive on the network and save it in the Photoshop folder. You can then open or drag-and-drop it into Photoshop.

For most projects the copy option is the easiest.
