Databases

In this section of the course you will learn how to use Microsoft Access to create some fairly sophisticated database systems. To do this, you will complete two extended tasks supported by video tutorials – DB1 & DB2 – and consolidate the skills you built by tackling past paper questions.

This is all new to me!

If you have never used a database before, don’t panic! We’ll start from the beginning, and cover everything you need to know throughout this unit, but if you’re finding things challenging, you may want to have a look at the Year 9 Databases unit, which has more supporting materials. Talk to your teacher in class if you would like more resources – we have plenty of them!
